Announcing a New Name and Direction: Commit to Flip Blue
|
Volunteer leaders of the former Lamorinda and Contra Costa County for Hillary are working together in a new organization focused on flipping elections in swing districts in California and across the country. We hope that you will continue to work with us on these critical efforts!
Our new mission is to help democratic candidates take (or defend) both state and federal government seats across the US.
- We will select races/candidates based on strategic opportunity, win-ability and geographic proximity
- We will partner with local community organizations and national organizations (such as Flippable)
- We will coordinate volunteers to participate in phone banks, canvassing, social media and/or GOTV efforts to support our candidates
Our initial efforts are focused on the upcoming special elections in Georgia and Kansas and on the long-term tasks to flip California District 10 to blue in 2018. If you would like to help, whether by hosting phone banks, reaching out to other groups, writing blogs, or offering any suggestions, please feel free to respond to this email or email us at [email protected]. TRACY-- Zarussi Park (Promenade Circle, Tracy CA) 580/205 to Tracy. Off at 11th St exit. Continue to N Corral Hollow Drive, turn left and then right on Fieldview Dr. Meet in the Park.
MANTECA -- Starbucks (129 S. Union Rd, Manteca CA) 580/205 past Tracy. Off at Manteca/120 exit. Exit at S Union, turn left (North) to just before Yosemite Ave. Starbucks on the left.
