Who we are: We are volunteers, from all walks of life, who came together during the 2018 election to help elect Democratic candidates from California to the US House of Representatives. We did this by mobilizing our friends, relatives and neighbors in the San Francisco Bay Area to join our personal efforts with other organizations. We traveled together to the Central Valley to help register voters and canvass door-to-door. In addition, we opened our homes and held multiple house gatherings to phone-bank, text- bank, and write postcards. The representatives we helped elect across California reflect our core values including inclusiveness and concern for the well-being of future generations and of American democracy.
Having helped flip California’s seven red congressional districts to blue for the first time in decades, we have now expanded our activities to the national stage as a special project of Flip the West. Our goals are to apply all that we learned in 2018 as volunteers and now scale our efforts to recapture the Presidency, flip the US Senate, and secure the gains we made in the US House of Representatives.
