At Commit To Democracy we are dedicated to the expansion of our community of volunteers, increasing our collective knowledge of best practice strategies and sharing positive moments of learning and joy.  In the coming months we will be hosting a Book Club, Town Halls, Deep Dive Sessions on Current Topics, an On-Line Auction, and other purely fun virtual sessions.  Check out the opportunities and hope to see you there!

Exploring the Roots of Your Activism: A WRITING WORKSHOP!

You are invited to a 2-hour writing workshop, to write with others about the roots of your activism, your history as an activist, or why you give money to organizations like Commit to Democracy.  We'll use Natalie Goldberg's freewrite approach, writing without editing, and reading our work without critique, just witnessing each other's lives. Let's meet on zoom on Sat. Feb. 12 from 10 am to noon.  SIGN UP HERE!

The session is being led by Heather MacLeod, who has been teaching writing classes for adults through Piedmont Adult School and privately for the past 30 years. She is also a leader with CTD.

RSVP today and invite friends for an honest and meaningful  session with fellow activists. Limit is 10 people. A voluntary donation of $10-$50 to Commit to Democracy is suggested, but your donation is NOT required to attend. We hope you will join this inspiring moment with fellow activists
