Commit to Flip Blue is joining up with MoveOn's "Close the Camps" coalition to protest the camps at the U.S. border and demand the closure of detention facilities holding migrant children and families. Starting today, there is a Month of Momentum: 30 Days of Action to Close the Camps (ICE SF), with daily protests from Noon to 1pm in front of the ICE headquarters in San Francisco at:

Commit to Flip Blue will join the protest on Tuesday, August 6. Help us make some noise! Please join volunteers Jackie Moreau and Leena St. Michael on August 6 at 12pm in San Francisco. Bring home made signs; we will try to have a few extra! If you can't join us Tuesday and are willing to organize on another day, please let us know.

Historically, this protest tactic was used to release the Soviet Jews. There were vigils everyday in front of the Russian Embassy.
