The Santa Barbara CTD HUB is hosting a CANVASSING event at the College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita on September 12th. All CTD members from the Los Angeles area and beyond are invited to attend. We are teaming with an awesome organization, Field Team 6 and a veteran canvasser and voter registration expert, Penny Kunitani. Join us to register new student voters and canvass (share information about Christy Smith) to students who have already registered. Penny will train CTD members on the spot and provide flyers and registration forms. Believe us when we tell you that you will learn some new tricks of the trade in terms of inspiring young people to stop, listen, and take action.

This will be an experience to enjoy and remember. Imagine the satisfaction we will all have when Christy Smith wins on November 8th and we can say we helped that happen through Voter Registration, Canvassing, Postcarding, and Phone Banking!

We have the opportunity to SAVE the HOUSE MAJORITY! In 2018, we flipped CA-1 BLUE. In 2020, the Republicans flipped it RED. Christy Smith lost in 2022 by just 330 votes! YES, 330 votes. Once again, it will be about turnout!
