Have you heard what is happening in Ohio? Republicans have scheduled a Special Election on August 8th to modify the percentage required to change the Ohio State Constitution from 50% to 60%? The reason Republicans are doing this is to block Ohio citizens from passing legislation on the ballot this November that will codify reproductive rights in the Ohio State Constitution. 

Activate America and Commit To Democracy are collaborating on a text campaign to fellow Democrats in Ohio to stop this Republican ploy designed to force minority rule on Ohioans. Our plan is to send reminder texts to 100k Ohio Democrats who inconsistently show up to vote in off cycle elections. We will urge them to show up on Election Day and VOTE NO on Issue I.  Our campaign is set to run the day before the Election and center on those registered Democrats who have not shown up to the polls in early voting.
