Postcarding Parties at Democratic Volunteer Center in Palo Alto

In May we will be holding a handful of postcard writing parties at the Democratic Volunteer Center in Palo Alto (see below for dates and times). Most of these dates will focus on writing postcards to registered Democrats in CA-22, asking them to vote for Andrew Janz for US House of Reps in the June Primary Election. Janz has the Democratic Party endorsement and is aiming to unseat Republican Devin Nunes. We will also have one party that focuses on CD-21 (Cox vs Valadao) and possibly on CD-10 as well.

The Democratic Volunteer Center is located at 960 San Antonio Road, in Palo Alto, close to 101. There is a parking lot as well as street parking. Look here for a map:

Postcards and stamps will be available at the event. A suggested donation amount for the postcards is $5 for 10 postcards and 10 stamps, or $10 for 20 postcards and 20 stamps. This helps the Democratic Volunteer Center to defray its costs in providing them. However, writing is more important to us than paying, so whether or not you are able to pay anything, come along and write! You are also welcome to bring your own stamps and postcards to use (pleasant themes please).

We will provide coffee and water for folks to enjoy while they write, and if folks wish to bring potluck snacks to share then we can enjoy some yummy foods together, too.

Please RSVP for one or more of the party dates using the form below. If you later find that you can't attend, or if you have any questions, please email us at [email protected] - thanks!
