Special Event Learn How to Agree to Disagree!

So many of us are struggling with how to talk to our family, friends and neighbors who believe in conspiracy theories and consume daily fake news. Relationship have suffered, families are broken, and neighborhoods once together are now apart. We want to do something to fix this but don't know how.

Dr. Nolan Higdon is an author and university lecturer of history and media studies at California State University, East Bay. In his book, Let's Agree to Disagree,  Nolan Higdon speaks to us of the importance to our Democracy to keep listening and  talking to one another. He will teach us the methods that he has researched that work. We will actually practice through role playing some of the techniques with real life examples. We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Higdon to a CTD Special Event for this session!

We hope you can join us on Thursay, June 2nd at 4 - 5:30 PM to hear this helpful and content rich discussion. Nolan is a compelling speaker and author with a teaching style that we can all relate to.
