Working America is on the ground in the Central Valley, committed to building the resistance and building a majority for progressive change.

To do that, we're starting in California's 10th district. We're aiming to motivate voters, turnout progressives and have pivotal conversations about issues that impact working people throughout the district.

We need your help to do it.

Working America is launching 4 training sessions in coming weeks to get volunteers ready to make a difference in the Central Valley. Join us at one of these events to learn how you can make a difference and brush up on the skills you'll need to do it.

Before hitting the pavement with us in the Central Valley, we're requiring all volunteers to attend one volunteer session. As well, to attend these initial training sessions, you will also need to volunteer for at least one canvass date in June. You will be directed to the sign up form for canvassing after completing the sign up form for the training. If you cannot make any of the canvass dates, we will keep you in the loop for the next trainings and for July canvassing.

4. Saturday, June 3, 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m., Oakland

Before attending the training, all attendees must sign up for at least one volunteer shift. Space is limited so we want to be able to offer space to those who will be taking action with us first. See the full list of volunteer shifts and volunteer here.

We're still finalizing details, but will be in touch with location and other details soon. 

Once you've attended a prerequisite volunteer training, you're ready to hit the streets with us to talk to voters and make a difference.

All volunteer shifts will take place in the Central Valley. We'll be in touch with the address of our meeting point and additional details after you RSVP.
