So many of us are struggling with the terrible impact of FAKE NEWS on our world. Our friendships, values, laws, and even those we elect to office are skewed by the conspiracy theories and mis-information promoted on social media sites and cable news stations. What can we do? 

Dr. Nolan Higdon is an author and university lecturer of history and media studies at California State University, East Bay. In his book, The Anatomy of Fake News,  Nolan Higdon provides a rich history and a promising set of pedagogical strategies for mitigating the pernicious influence of fake news. We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Higdon to our CTD Town Hall for a talk on specific techniques and steps to identify Fake News in our daily lives.
